Textruta: The Eurodome at Tourla observatory near Turku in Finland is the largest dome we have made so far. It has a 7,5 m. diameter, and is used with a Digistar 3 digital planetarium projector. Textruta: A Eurodome visiting a school. We use it here with Digital Starlab. Textruta: EURODOME A permanent planetarium doesn't need to cost a fortune. Therefore we have developed light weight, fine cloth domes in sizes 5 - 7,5 metres. Depending on size and kind of furniture used, a Eurodome can take 20-60 visitors. We use a five metre Eurodome with room for 30, where we have both Digital Starlab and Warped Media installed. A Eurodome is acoustically "kind" since no sounds reflect in the dome, as they will in mobile domes as well as in "home made domes" made in hard materials. Textruta: Home
